BTS’s V Is Outperforming Literally Everyone On Social Media Without Even Trying

Even though he isn’t the most-followed K-Pop artist on Instagram — that title goes to BLACKPINK‘s Lisa — BTS‘s V has been deemed the king of the social media platform in other ways!

According to the influencer marketing software program, SocialBook, the BTS member far and above has the highest average number of likes per Instagram post. This is especially impressive given that he surpasses celebrities with many more than his 57.8 million followers on the platform.

In fact, he has nearly twice as many the number of average likes per post than the person in second place — Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldowho has 560 million followers — with 15.6 million average likes compared to the athlete’s 8.9 million.

And that’s not all. In the last 60 days, V has also had the highest engagement rate of anyone on Instagram. While he has only made one post in that time, it has amassed nearly 13.5 million likes, with 23.1% of his followers clicking on the post.

In addition, V also recently became the first person on Instagram to have every one of his posts reach 10 million likes. With 77 posts at the time of this writing, that’s a lot of likes for him to accumulate!

It seems like no one will surpass V’s influence on social media anytime soon, showing just how huge of a star the BTS member is on a global scale.
