TWICE Chooses The Acting Roles That Would Best Suit Each Member

TWICE is currently promoting their twelfth mini-album, Ready To Beand are continuing to release new content for fans.

As part of their promotions, the group stopped by GQ to participate in the fashion, style, and culture publication’s popular online series Actually Me.

Actually Me has popular celebrities go undercover on social media sites like Instagram, Twitter, Quora, Reddit, and more to reply to fans’ questions and theories.

During the video, the group addressed a Reddit post from last year that asked, “Which TWICE member will most likely be an actress in the future?” to which the group had prepared detailed answers.

While Tzuyu and Ji Hyo pointed out that the members have had experience acting for their music videos, the group took turns describing what kind of roles would be the best for each member, and it couldn’t suit them more.

1. Jihyo

For leader Jihyo, Nayeon felt she perfectly suited the “secret agent” concept the group tackled in their “Talk That Talk” music video.

2. Jeongyeon

For Jeongyeonthe group felt she would make a great police officer, and she agreed. Jeongyeon shared that she wanted to be “an action star” and perform stunts like jumping off buildings.

3. A lot

Chaeyoung had a very specific vision for A lot‘s potential acting debut and felt that she perfectly suited a romantic concept that involves a time-traveling husband.

4. Mina

After Sana, Jihyo jokingly shared that if the lead in the fictional movie they created in Sana’s scenario was sad, then she should be played by Mina.

It was suggested that Mina would be perfect as a ghost in a horror movie before Momo added that she would also be a great “daughter of a rich family.” Fellow group members pitched in by saying the “rich daughter” scenario should still have a dark twist.

5. Dahyun

The members unanimously agreed that Dahyun would be perfect in a sitcom such as MBC‘s High Kick. With her contagious energy and fun personality, it’s easy to see why!

6. Tzuyu

Jihyo pictures Tzuyu making her acting debut in a period piece, and the other members agreed that her stunning visuals would be perfect for a historical drama.

7. Momo

Of course, for “dancing machine” Momo, the members picture her in a dance movie, like an older cheerleading movie. Specifically, Sana can see Momo as a studious classmate with glasses who completely transforms when they dance.

8. Chaeyoung

For talented artist Chaeyoung, Jihyo felt she would play a great clothing designer. Jeongyeon hilariously added that she would fit a cameo role that “has a lot of impact.”

9. Nayeon

The members concluded the question without discussing the acting role that would suit Nayeon best. For the talented member, we don’t need to imagine her debut role as she made her acting debut in 2012 with a special appearance in Dream High 2 alongside GOT7‘s Jinyoung!
