In a heartfelt Instagram post, Ari — former TAHITI member and beloved actress — addressed her fans after the recent announcement of her upcoming marriage to Super Junior‘s Ryeowook.
The former idol shared that while she feels a newfound warmth in her heart and is excited to embark on this new chapter in her life, she is also sorry to any fans who may feel upset by their decision.
“Spring has quietly arrived, and as the days become sunnier, it feels like warmth is also spreading in my heart.
How are all of you doing? This is Ari, and it’s been a while since I last greeted you. As spring arrives and May draws to a close, I have some warm news to share with you.
I’m planning to start a family with someone I’ve been with for what feels like a long time. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported, understood and encouraged me thus far. At the same time, I am sorry to those who might feel hurt by our decision.

Ari’s Instagram comments under her post were full of positivity and love, with plenty of Super Junior fans wishing her a happy life with their beloved Ryeowook.
The actress’s message comes after Ryeowook himself shared on his social media in March that he and Ari are set to marry. He explained that their decision to wed wasn’t made impulsively but followed prolonged reflection and discussions with his band members and management.
Ryeowook conveyed his mixed feelings of gratitude and remorse to his fans, assuring them that he would continue to dedicate himself to his music and performances with Super Junior.
I always feel grateful yet somewhat sorry towards the fans. Nevertheless, I intend to continue working hard and showing my best as Ryeowook of ‘Super Junior’, singing and performing with the members, supported by everyone who wants to listen to my songs.

The couple first went public with their relationship in 2020. Since the disbandment of TAHITI in 2018, Ari has pursued a career in acting, taking roles in various plays and musicals.
