Yet, while SEVENTEEN has traveled and toured in many countries, netizens have pointed out the numerous places the group hasn’t performed in, such as Europe and places in South Asia and South America. Even within Korea, SEVENTEEN tend to perform in the same cities and venues.

It seems like SEVENTEEN’s Woozi has shared the reasons behind choosing tour locations.

Recently, Woozi appeared on a live broadcast with Calm Down Man.

During the broadcast, Woozi spoke about touring and explained that the members want to go everywhere and meet CARATs worldwide, no matter what the economic results might be.

As a group, we want to go everywhere. We don’t mind if it makes money or not, we want to go.

— Woozi

Yet, it seems like wanting to go to a place isn’t as simple as expected, and there are a lot of logistics that go into the list of places a company decides on.

When we receive tour [lists] that are very specific [to parts of the world] or are venues that [company] knows will gather lots of people, we know that even though it won’t change, we  say we want to go to other places. Is it possible [to do it]?

— Woozi

Calm Down Man then explained that it wasn’t surprising that companies look at money in some way, adding, “It’s true that if you don’t get income from a concert, you can’t do it.”

Woozi confirmed that was the case, but that SEVENTEEN tries to make a point to go to other places, especially knowing that there are fans in other countries who want to see the members.

No, you can’t. So we say that let’s do the usual tour areas that give us income. But we know that other countries want to see us. Wouldn’t it be good to go?

— Woozi

SEVENTEEN is set to make their Europe debut with shows in the UK and Germany at festivals, and many hope it means that the group might think about touring in places they haven’t after seeing the support from other countries.
