While NewJeans‘ Hyein might be one of the youngest idols in the industry, the idol gained attention after her professionalism during a recent music show interview.
On July 21, NewJeans appeared on Music Bank to promote their new songs “ETA” and “Cool With You.” Unsurprisingly, both performances received a lot of praise from netizens as the idols showcased their talent and charm on stage with both performances.
Yet, the youngest member, Hyein, had already caught the attention of fans for her professionalism before the group even got on stage.
Like every group making a huge comeback, the members met with MCs THE SSERAFIM‘s Eunchae and actor Lee Chae Min to chat about their songs.
During the interview, they spoke about the two new songs that they were going to be promoting.
They also answered questions from the two MCs…
At one point, it was the turn of Chae Min to speak with the members.
There seemed to be an issue with his script, as he started by saying but then seemingly got confused with what he was reading, “So the opinion of those who’ve chosen Cool with You… Huh… Wait… What..?”
Luckily, Hyein was ready and already knew exactly what was going on as she got everything back on track by saying, “I chose ‘Cool With You!’ In my mind, I’ve chosen ‘Cool With You’!”
The young idol then went on to introduce the song with professionalism. In the corner, Chae Min couldn’t hide his reactions to what had just happened, but he had the cutest smile as he tried to get back on track.
The clip unsurprisingly gained attention amongst Korean netizens after it was posted on the forum theqoo. It even gained attention amongst international netizens who couldn’t get over how professional Hyein was to help Chae Min get back on track.
