ITZY debuted back in 2019 and has had huge hits and global success. Even though many netizens feel like their company JYP Entertainment hasn’t utilized the members to their full potential in recent comebacks, the members continue to shine.

NewJeans debuted last year under MOVES‘s subsidiary label I ADORE and quickly saw their fame skyrocket, despite controversies surrounding their debut early on.

Both groups are scheduled for a comeback, and NewJeans has been teasing their album on Twitter. On July 5, NewJeans shared a poster with what seemed to be the title track for the new album, and it was called “Super Shy.”

Of course, considering the title is called “Super Shy,” it’s not surprising that the first thing many people thought about was ITZY’s hit song “Not Shy.”

Most of the fans in the comments found it hilarious and used it as an excuse to bring back the iconic “Wouldn’t last a day in ITZY” meme. Due to the group’s song being called “Not Shy,” if someone ever said they were shy, netizens would respond with, “Wouldn’t last a day in ITZY.”

Because of the fact NewJeans’ new song is called “Super Shy,” it wasn’t surprising that a lot of the quotes were filled with the classic ITZY meme.

Of course, it probably is just pure coincidence that the two names are so similar, and it looks like the concepts couldn’t be any more different.
