As an American actor of Korean descent, Daniel wore a hanbok Gold House 2nd Annual Gold Gala in LA.
Combining his traditional Korean clothes with some limited edition Nike shoes released for AAPI heritage month, he received praise for his hip and modern interpretation of the traditional garb.

It’s a hanbok designer from Los Angeles named Mehee. You guys know that hanboks are traditionally Korean. I wanted to update it and use my heritage to kind of honor and respect this occasion. So, I’ve got that and these limited edition Nikes that were made for Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander heritage month. They just came out so I’m honored to wear them.
