WhatsApp is testing quick reply feature for voice messages

WhatsApp voice messages can be answered with one touch

There will be a button right next to the voice message that allows users to immediately record and send their responses. Currently, it is necessary to swipe the voicemail, then select the reply option and record the audio. The new button will make it easier to respond to a voicemail by eliminating these extra steps.

This new quick voice reply feature is similar to the simple tap reply feature that WhatsApp previously introduced for video messages. The feature, which will make responding to voice messages faster and easier than ever, is currently being tested with a limited number of people participating in the beta program.
