Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series continues to set standards in the Android smartphone market. As the launch date approaches, details about the devices also come to light. Despite Samsung taking strict security measures, leaks have not stopped and important information about this new series has already emerged. So what have we learned about the new series so far? Let’s see together.
Samsung continues to offer simplicity and elegance together in the design of the Galaxy S25 series. Galaxy S25 Ultra highlights comfort with its rounded corners. This design makes the device easier to hold and provides an aesthetic appearance. The Ultra model comes with a titanium back cover, while other models are equipped with aluminum frames. The S Pen slot also retains its place in the Ultra model.
The screen of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is slightly larger than the previous model, with a size of 6.86 inches. By thinning the frames to 2.3 mm, the device has a more compact design. Screen brightness reaching up to 3000 nits allows you to see images clearly in any environment. In addition, the new generation Gorilla Glass screen protection increases durability by combining with anti-reflective features.
The entire Galaxy S25 series comes with only the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor this time. Samsung seems to have made this decision due to production problems with Exynos processors. While Snapdragon 8 Elite attracts attention with its high performance, standardization of 12 GB RAM also provides a performance increase in all models.
In the camera system of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the 200 MP main sensor is protected. In addition, the image quality is increased by increasing the sensor used in wide-angle shots to 50 MP. This improvement enables better photography, especially in low light conditions. However, camera upgrades may be more limited on the S25 and S25+ models.
Samsung does not seem to have made any changes to the battery capacities of the Galaxy S25 series. However, 25W wireless charging support will be offered with the new wireless charging technology Qi2 standard. Additionally, artificial intelligence-supported energy management systems will be used to extend battery life.
There are leaks that Samsung is working on a thinner model called Galaxy S25 Slim. Although there is no official confirmation, a different alternative to the series may be offered if this model is introduced.
The Galaxy S25 series is expected to be introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event to be held on January 22. It is said that the devices will be available for sale as of February 7. It is thought that there may be an increase in prices due to the increase in the cost of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
