Setting the market standards in the field of electronic display technologies VESA, announced two new certification standards for modern gaming monitors. By 2025, many manufacturers are preparing to adopt these standards. Gigabyte announced that it will use ClearMR 21000 certification along with DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20) support in its new QD-OLED gaming monitors. While MSI confirmed that its new models will be compatible with these standards, LG became the first brand to receive ClearMR certification with its UltraGear OLED 480Hz Gaming Monitor (27GX790A).
