One Cool Jacso announced 6 members from the 17-member trainee group, OCJ NEWBIES as members of XODIAC. The members are Lex, HyunSik, BeomSoo, Sing, Wain, and DaVin, and their pre-debut single ‘Calling’ is now available on all streaming platforms. XODIAC has achieved several accomplishments before their official debut, including being the first K-Pop band to be featured in four major magazine shoots from Hong Kong and winning the “Potential New Boy Group” award at the global Weibo Account Festival held in Japan on December 20. Additionally, XODIAC leader Lex has received the “Fashion Rookie” award, becoming one of the first solo pre-debut artists to do so.
XODIAC’s pre-debut single ‘Calling’ is a visually stunning and musically satisfying treat sung entirely in English. The song features a fun and light pop sound mixed with a mature rap beat, accompanied by a fresh pop dance beat. The lyrics touch on common relationship challenges and are relatable to fans. In the music video, all members are dressed in high-fashion attire (Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, Versace, Kenzo) showcasing the group’s focus on fashion. XODIAC’s youthful yet modern and mature look is complemented by their crisp and precise performance skills, making them promising newcomers in the K-Pop scene.

XODIAC’s members are extremely talented, with group and dance leader Lex having won multiple national dance awards in Korea after years of training. Other members have also appeared as contestants on various music competition shows, such as “Produce 101”, “World Klass”, “We Are Young”, and “Stars Awakening”. As a result of their impressive skills, XODIAC is one of the most anticipated new boy groups of 2023.
