Turkish-made rifle takes care of drones
Turkish Hatsan Manufactured by the Arms Company and designed primarily for hunting Escort BTS 12 semi-automatic shotguns are actively used by Ukrainian soldiers to destroy drones. The 12-gauge, gas-powered and magazine-fed BTS 12 can fire 10 shots per minute. The weapon, available with magazines with a capacity of 2, 5 or 10 cartridges, can affect targets up to 120 meters away. This makes BTS 12 an important tool in drone defense at low altitudes.
Earlier this year, HATSAN General Manager Bahtiyar Taşyağan announced that 4 thousand of the 10 thousand orders from the Ukrainian army had been delivered. Most of the deliveries have probably been completed within the period.
