Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has been capturing the hearts of fans all over the world with their unique sound and relatable lyrics. At their recent concert “ACT: SWEET MIRAGE,” in Seoul, the group surprised the crowd with the debut of a brand new song dedicated to their beloved fandom, Moments of Alwaysness (MOA). Titled ‘Blue Spring’ the emotional track is a heartfelt tribute for their fans who have been with them through thick and thin. BeomGyu composed the guitar melody and all of the members took part in writing the song.
The lyrics of ‘Blue Spring’ are rich in metaphor and symbolism, which add layers of depth and meaning to the song. The powerful opening lines sung by Huening Kai, “When we’re high when we’re low, you’re always by my side” set the tone for the rest of the song, which talks about the importance of having someone to lean on during difficult times. Each of the members silently put in the hard work during their trainee years before being able to debut as Tomorrow X Together. YeonJun, the member that spent the longest time as a trainee at Big Hit, emotionally comes in with his verse, “Nobody knows about the extreme anxiety that winter, my nervous heartbeat”. During the concert, SooBin made it clear that their youth truly began on March 4th, 2019 when they were first introduced to their fandom. TaeHyun explained, “before we met MOAs, our lives weren’t exactly warm springs, it was just lonely and blue. The chorus of the song repeats the phrase “flowers, flowers,” which represents the beauty and growth that come with spring but also shines a light on their most precious fandom that continues to bloom.
