Spider-Man, one of Marvel’s most popular heroes, has been appearing in different adaptations recently. The number of these adaptations is increasing, including the main film series starring Tom Holland, the Spider-Verse animated films, and alternative Spider-Man interpretations such as Spider-Noir. As a matter of fact, a new Spider-Man adaptation will be added next month. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, the animated series prepared for Disney +, will meet the audience on January 29.

Disney, which has accelerated its promotional activities for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, whose release date is getting closer, shared a new trailer from the series.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Will Start on January 29

Although Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man was brought to life by Marvel, it does not take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Instead, it takes place in a parallel universe and focuses on Peter Parker’s high school years. Unlike the MCU, this time Peter’s mentor is Norman Osborn, not Tony Stark. Parker tries to balance his high school life while taking his first steps as a superhero.

Although the series takes place in an alternative universe, it is said that some of the names we know from the MCU may voice the same characters in this series. Among the actors mentioned are Charlie Cox (Daredevil) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Kingpin).
