After introducing the Magic 7 series last October, Honor took this series even further in December and introduced the Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design model to users. Now it is said that the brand is working on a model that will bring a new breath to this series. While some sources state that the new model will come with a different name, according to others, a “renewed” Honor Magic 7 awaits us.
The new model is expected to be released in April. According to rumors, this renewed device will offer remarkable features such as a battery capacity of over 6,000mAh and a periscope telephoto camera. Although other details are not yet fully clarified, it is estimated that the features of the current model will be largely preserved.
When we look at the highlights of the current Magic 7 model, the device comes with a 5,650mAh battery capacity and offers 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging support. The camera system consists of a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. Also, unlike the Magic 7 Pro model, the standard version does not have a periscope camera.
Equipped with a 6.78-inch OLED LTPO screen, the device provides 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, Magic 7 draws attention with up to 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB storage options. The device comes out of the box with Magic OS 9.0 based on Android 15 and has a 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Details such as ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint sensor, satellite connection support and IP68/69 certified body are among the notable features of the model.
It is eagerly awaited what Honor will offer with this new model and what kind of experience it will promise to users. As the details become clear in the coming days, it is expected that the device will attract great attention from technology enthusiasts.
