BYD shared the official images of the Han L and Tang L models that will be offered for sale in China. The duo, which will take the brand to the next level in terms of performance, will be powered by a new electric motor capable of turning 30,000 rpm and will offer a total power of 810 kW (1085 hp) with a 4WD system.
BYD Han L’s body design is largely the same as Han. While the thin LED lighting combined with the chrome piece in the middle remains the same, a design change has been made in the lower bumper. On the side, the new 19-inch 10-spoke wheels, red calipers and the new design on the rear pillar attract attention, and we see that the chrome piece on the front fender now extends to the door handle.
The real crucial change in Han L is on the engine side. The rear-wheel drive version of the electric sedan is powered by a 500 kW (670 hp) permanent magnet synchronous motor that can rotate 30,000 rpm. In the 4WD version, the power of the rear engine increases to 580 kW, while a 230 kW engine is added to the front axle. In this way, the performance model, which can reach a total power of 1085 horsepower, takes 2.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h.
Tang L; It has a length of 5040 mm, a width of 1996 mm, a height of 1760 mm and a wheelbase of 2950 mm. The dimensions of the electric SUV have also increased compared to the standard Tang model. The power options of the model, which can be preferred with 20 or 21 inch wheels, go up to 1085 horsepower, just like the Han L.
