“The lost baggage era is coming to an end”: THY and Apple cooperate for baggage tracking
Turkish Airlines (THY) maximizes passenger satisfaction through its technological developments. In this context, THY made a new cooperation agreement with Apple. Making a statement about the baggage tracking system, THY Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat said that operational efficiency will increase with this innovation.
“As Turkish Airlines, we are happy to announce that we have collaborated with Apple to improve our baggage tracking system. With the release of iOS 18.2, our passengers will now be able to share the location information of their baggage with AirTag or Find My supported devices with our relevant teams. Thanks to this innovation, we can quickly find and deliver your luggage to you, and we aim to maximize your satisfaction while increasing our operational efficiency. It is extremely easy to use this feature: All you have to do is create a “Share Location” link via the Find My application and share it on our website https://lnkd.in/dhzeadvh. Shared location information is stored securely, expires automatically after seven days, or can be disabled by you at any time. Very soon you will be able to use the same feature through our mobile application. As Turkish Airlines, we are committed to using technology to improve your travel experience.
