The first information from Huawei Pocket 3 has started to arrive
Huawei attracted attention with the Pocket 2 model it launched last year. Now, the first information has begun to emerge that the brand is preparing a new model of this series. According to leaked information, the Pocket 3 model may be introduced after the Chinese Spring Festival. This shows that the device can meet users in the first quarter. It is also expected that Huawei will introduce a compact tablet with Pocket 3 at this launch. However, no details about the name or technical specifications of the tablet have been shared yet.
Some first information about the design and features of Pocket 3 has also emerged. It is stated that the device will be thinner, smaller and lighter compared to the previous model. However, although information has been leaked that the device will be offered in two different versions, it remains unclear for now what features these models will have. More information about technical details is expected to be shared closer to the official launch.
Pocket 3 looks set to face strong competition when it launches. In particular, models such as Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, Honor Magic V Flip 2 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 stand out as other strong competitors in this segment. The new models of these competitors, Xiaomi and Honor, are expected to be introduced in the second quarter of the year, and Samsung’s in July.
As you may remember, the Pocket 2 model attracted attention with its 6.94-inch OLED LTPO foldable screen, 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. On the outside of the device, there was a 1.15 inch OLED screen. Camera features included a 50-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle, 8-megapixel telephoto and 2-megapixel spectral sensor. Kirin processor, 4,520 mAh battery, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB storage capacity and 66W fast charging support were also among the strengths of the previous model. Huawei is expected to take this level even further with Pocket 3.
