How will the departure fee abroad be paid?

The fee for going abroad can be paid against a receipt at tax offices, goods directorates, customs accountancy offices, revenue accounting directorates, authorized banks and PTT cashiers before going abroad. Payments for departure abroad can also be made through the Digital Tax Office and mobile applications of the Revenue Administration, as well as the internet banking and mobile banking applications of authorized banks.
With the regulation coming into force, it will not be necessary to physically obtain a fee stamp when traveling abroad as of January 1, 2025. Payments made electronically can be checked through the system, and upon check-out, the fee amount will be recorded in the system where it is used.
