The design of the Chinese electric sedan Leapmotor B01 has been revealed

The new Leapmotor B01 is the SUV model that the brand introduced in recent months. B10 It shares the same platform with. When we look at the shared photo, we see that it has a design compatible with other models of the brand. There are thin daytime LEDs on the protruding nose section, while there are main lights and air intakes on the edges of the bumper.
On the side, which we see more clearly due to the shooting angle, the high shoulder line, hidden door handles, multi-spoke wheels and the cameras on the front fenders attract attention. There is a tarpaulin on the ceiling, but it is likely that there will be a large panoramic glass ceiling in this area as well. At the rear, there will be thin LED taillights extending from end to end, just like other models.
Koreans developed fire and explosion-proof batteries
Technical details are not yet clear, but B01 is expected to have a length of around 4.7 meters. Since it shares the same platform with the B10, the engine and battery options may also be the same. In this context, we can expect a combination of a 160 kW (204 hp) electric motor and a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 56.2 kWh.
Leapmotor’s operations outside China are carried out by Stellantis. Stellantis bought 20% of the Chinese company last year. Then, Leapmotor International was founded by the duo, in which Stellantis had a 51% share. Therefore, Stellantis will be responsible for the sales of the new B01 outside China.
