Android XRAndroid’s traditional three button navigationcombines it with a more modern buttonless movement system. As soon as you raise your hand, the operating system will show you a diamond-shaped button. To press, you will need to bring your thumb and index finger together. To choose one, you will place your hand over it and lift your thumb and index finger.
Google says Android XR will allow users to experience apps in two modes: Main Field and Full Field. In the Main Area, you will be able to use applications open side by side. In Full Field you will focus on a single application. The operating system will offer a button to switch between the two modes.
Samsung is not expected to introduce its first XR headset with the Galaxy S25 series.
