The best-selling electric cars in Turkey in 2024

In December, electric car sales increased by 91% to 21,598 units. The share of electric cars in sales increased to 16% in December.
Togg finished the year in first place with sales of 30,093 units, thanks to the influence of the campaigns it organized throughout the year. Tesla ranked second with 11,534 units. The total sales of these two brands account for approximately 42% of the market. In third place is KG Mobility (SsangYong) Torres EVX with sales of 5,094 units.

We see that electric models from luxury brands such as Mercedes EQB, BMW iX1 and BMW i5 are at the top because they offer a price advantage compared to their fossil fuel counterparts. Mini Countryman, one of this year’s remarkable models, has also managed to rank in the top five.

Sales of BYD, which is much talked about with its prices, are also a matter of curiosity. BYD Atto 3 is already eighth on the list. Among the models that did not make it into the top 10, BYD Han sold 116 units, BYD Seal sold 168 units, BYD Dolphin sold 355 units and BYD Seal U sold 909 units.
