Plastic Bag Commission At the meeting, the opinion that the bag price of 25 kuruş was not an amount that would reduce the consumption of plastic bags was expressed and it was emphasized that the use of plastic bags was increasing. After these evaluations, it was decided that the price of plastic bags would be 50 kuruş.
Change in international departure fee
In order to prevent environmental pollution, the price of the paid plastic bag application, which was implemented as of January 1, 2019, was determined as 25 kuruş. There has been no wage increase since that date.

This confirmed the claims that the price, reflected on the end consumer, would increase.
