The highly popular youth drama “Dream High” is getting a stage musical adaptation, and some of our favorite idols and actors have been cast in the leading roles. You might remember “Dream High” as the high school K-Drama starring Suzy, Kim SooHyun, IU, 2PM’s TaecYeon, WooYoung, and Ham EunJung. The musical will tell the story of our protagonists ten years after their graduation, piquing the interest of fans all over the world.

To begin with, the leading role of Song SamDong, which was originally played by Kim SooHyun in the drama, will be played by MoonSeok himWINNER’s Hoony, and SF9’s Yoo Taeyang. Both Hoony and TaeYang are known as two of the best dancers in the K-Pop industry, so fans are excited to see a new kind of performance from them in “Dream High”. On the other hand, ASTRO’s leader JinJin alongside Teen Top’s Niel and GREE will be playing the role of Jason in the musical, which was the character played by WooYoung. Notably, this will be Hoony and JinJin’s musical actor debut, and expectations are high for their appearance.
