Flexis brand, which was established in partnership with Renault, Volvo Trucks and French logistics company CMA CGM, introduced its electric commercial vehicles that it plans to launch next year. New models, which are part of an investment of 350 million euros, were built on the shared platform.
Flexis said that the height of the platform used in commercial vehicles it introduced is designed to provide the highest benefit for the driver’s cabin and cargo area. All three vehicles have an electric engine of 200 horsepower and promises a driving range of up to 450 kilometers in the city. The charging power has not yet been announced, but the 10-80 %charging time is 20 minutes.
The vehicle, which is located to the left of the shared photo, has a height of the transformer model despite the footprint of the Kangoo model. It is seen as a good option for cargo distribution companies with its low floor and sliding doors that allow to enter and exit quickly, which we see that such vehicles are used especially by distribution companies abroad.
The production of Flexis models will begin in 2026 at Renault’s Sandoudille factory in France. Traffic and Nissan Primestar models are produced in the factory in question. Renault and Volvo Trucks, which are responsible for most of the production, have 90 percent of the brand (45:45), while the remaining 10 %shares belong to CMA CGM.
Renault reassures Flexis brand. The company said that this brand aims to be the “Tesla of Commercial Vehicles”.
