Reacting to Zuckerberg’s statements, Dubey stated that his committee would contact Meta and said, “False information about any democratic country damages the image of that country. This organization will need to apologize to the Indian parliament and people for this mistake.” he said.

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), established under the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by Prime Minister Modi, won the 7-stage general elections in India, which lasted approximately 6 weeks in 2024.
However, since the BJP could not reach the required number of 272 votes, it needed the NDA coalition to form the government.
