What does the first update of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle bring?
The update introduces what MachineGames calls Full Ray Tracing mode, an extremely performance-oriented rendering technique. Path Tracing Activates the feature. Here are the new features and fixed bugs:
New Features
Full Ray Tracing feature added to supported NVIDIA graphics cards. AMD FSR support is not yet available.
General
Fixes a rare crash that could occur when saving the game
Fixes an issue where you could temporarily lose your Pre-Order/Deluxe outfit rights
Fix to make your journal photos appear faster
Gameplay
Fixes bad animation that could occur if you put on the rebreather immediately after jumping into water
Fixes an issue that temporarily prevented you from interacting with objects when you tried to push an enemy with your weapon when your stamina was depleted
Fixes an issue that could cause you to be unable to block punches while looking at a nearby object
Fixes an issue that could prevent you from changing your disguise after leaving Sukhothai village via the fast travel sign
Fix for a few places where the whip would break unexpectedly while swinging
Fixes an issue where the first shot from a makeshift weapon would be ineffective
Fixes an issue that could cause enemies to react delayed after stealing valuables

Added “Reset to Default” option to the options menu.
Fix for an issue where quickly rotating the Quick Equipment menu caused the wrong item to be shown in the menu
Fix for intermittent text flickering during credits
Graphics
Fixes an issue where some items, such as bottles, appeared blurry
Fix for an issue where Indy’s right arm appeared to be tucked above his wrist when wearing a short-sleeved costume
Fix for occasional stuttering issue that could occur during cutscenes
Fix to make Indy’s whip behave more naturally when attached to his belt
PC specific bug fixes
Performance improvement in larger gaming sections on 8GB VRAM graphics cards
Fixes an issue where pressing Alt+Tab could prevent you from opening your inventory
Fix for “Undo” option to work properly when changing video modes
Fixes an issue where a torch or lighter flame would flicker when playing the game at a high refresh rate
Fixes an issue where enabling HDR and DLSS at the same time could result in a moiré effect on plain white walls
Fixes an issue where black squares appear intermittently on the screen when rendering scaling is used at certain resolutions on AMD graphics cards
AMD FSR support will be added in a future update
There are many bug fixes for the missions, but we did not share them because they contain spoilers. If you have a PC Game Pass subscription, you can download the standard version of the game starting today.
