It has become clear that the renewed Tesla Model Y now has a Cybercab-like front design. The new headlight design that extends throughout the car looks quite striking. In addition, the protruding nose part of the new design is expected to contribute to range by increasing aerodynamic efficiency. Vertical air intakes, which are larger than before, stand out on the edges of the bumper.
As we have seen before, the rear of the facelifted Model Y has taillights that extend from end to end. Small details are not very visible because the vehicle is covered in ice, but we can see that the diffuser has more angular lines than the current one. In addition, the reflectors in the diffuser have also changed.
Apart from the design, Tesla Model Y’s battery options will also be updated to improve efficiency and energy density. When this is combined with a more aerodynamic design, an increase of up to 10% in range is expected. Additionally, it is said that a new software focused on energy saving will be integrated into Tesla’s Full Self Driving (FSD) system.
Production of the facelifted Tesla Model Y has started in China, but what really interests us is when the production in Berlin will start. The news is that production in Germany will start in the first or second quarter. In this context, it may take until the third quarter of the year for it to arrive in Turkey.
