New solutions in cancer treatment with 3T Competition in Oncology

Within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2025 Technology Competitions, this competition, which will break new ground in the field of oncology, awaits participants who want to produce effective and innovative solutions for oncological problems by using the opportunities offered by modern technologies such as genetic engineering, biotechnology and artificial intelligence. In the competition whose treatment target this year was determined as “Lung Cancer”, the candidates; Genetic and Epigenetic Approaches: Epigenetic regulation approaches with CRISPR and similar gene editing technologies, Cellular and Molecular Therapies: Advanced molecular therapies such as immunotherapy, smart drugs, tumor-targeted antibodies, CAR-T cell therapies and transgenic Natural Killer (NK) cells, Artificial Intelligence Assisted Drug Development Solutions: Detection of personalized and cancer-specific targets with artificial intelligence applications, biomarker-based drug development processes and Therapeutic Cancer Vaccine Technologies: Studies are expected in the fields of RNA and DNA-based treatment methods and new generation cancer vaccine technologies.

“3T Competition in Oncology” will bring together scientists and students to shape the treatment technologies of the future today. Undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students studying in Turkey and abroad will be able to participate as team members in the competition, which aims to make a difference with creative solutions and innovative ideas, especially in a vital field such as lung cancer.
