In honor of Children’s Day on May 5, many K-Pop idols upload childhood pictures and videos of themselves.

NCT‘s Jaehyun was one of the many idols who uploaded adorable videos of himself as a child.

With the caption, “there are a couple things that never change, music, fashion, and your laughter.”

And fans were surprised by just how accurate Jaehyun’s caption was, as they found the sound of his laughter in his childhood videos shockingly identical to the laughter he now has.

And fans also agreed that Jaehyun’s fashion sense hadn’t changed that much. Especially his backward baseball cap.

Although photos and videos of idols during their childhood often are endearing for fans, seeing how similar Jaehyun still is to his childhood self made fans extra emotional.

Jaehyun not only chose precious videos to upload but also definitely picked the right caption.
