LOONA Fans Outraged To Learn That The Members Were Banned From Leaving Their Dorm By BlockBerry Creative

In the ongoing legal battle between the current and former members of LONDON against label BlockBerry Creativeit seems like new revelations are made all the time that continue to show the hardships the idols went through during their time with the company.

Using the Fab app, which allows the members of LOONA to interact with their fans, Hyunjin recently shared a story about the group’s early days with BlockBerry Creative where they were forced to stay in their dorm practically all the time with barely any outside breaks.

According to Hyunjin, a CCTV camera was set up outside of their dorm room to monitor the members and make sure they didn’t leave without permission. It’s unclear exactly when this sort of surveillance happened, but it sounds like it was either during their rookie days or early days as idols.

Regardless of the timing, the members were so desperate to get outside that they tried resorting to using a box to try and sneak each other out or block the camera enough for them to escape. Unfortunately these plans didn’t work, and the members ended up getting caught in their escape attempts.

Finally, Hyunjin herself got so fed up with the situation that she actually cut the wires of the CCTV camera, which sounds like it put an end to their practical prison sentence. You can read her entire recounting of the story below.

Later on, she came back to try to lighten the situation and say that it was alright because it had happened a long time ago.

However, fans of LOONA aren’t taking the story lightly. It isn’t the first time the members have spoken about being forced to stay in their dorms for unreasonable amounts of time, either — Chuu shared earlier this year that there were times when they were only allowed 20 minutes to be outside each day, and was visibly distressed recalling it.
