Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI announced that the new version of its Grok-2 chatbot is available free of charge for all X platform users. The company stated that this new version will significantly improve the interaction experience by providing faster and more accurate responses for users.
xAI stated that it has been quietly testing the new version of the Grok-2 model over the last few weeks and that this new version offers three times faster performance, higher accuracy, better instruction following and multi-language support. Grok-2 delivers real-time insights on the X platform, providing answers with information gleaned from posts and the wider web.
The chatbot uses Aurora, a new autoregressive rendering model, to answer questions, summarize information, generate memes, and produce photorealistic images. With the new “draw me” feature, users will be able to make their interactions more creative and fun.

xAI announced that it will offer higher usage limits and early access to new future capabilities for Premium and Premium+ users. These users will be the first to experience the latest features and improvements the platform has to offer.
Grok-2 is accessible to users through a special menu in the bottom bar of the platform, directly accessible from the home screen of the X platform. In this way, users will be able to easily interact with the chatbot and discover the new features it offers.
