Google Play StoreThere may have been applications that you downloaded and deleted after a very short time. This usually happens when the developer’s description and the content of the app do not match. Google is testing a feature that will solve this.

The applications’ page will now show information on uninstall frequency, user data and number of active users. Thus, the user will be able to see whether the application is worth downloading.

When you open an app’s page in Play Store, you will now see these warnings:

  • This app is frequently removed compared to similar apps on Play
  • Play has limited user data about this app
  • This app has few active users compared to other apps on Play.

These warnings are not definitive indicators that an app is low quality, but they can help guide the user to a better choice. For example; An app that is removed frequently may indicate that it does not meet users’ expectations, while an app with limited user data may raise questions about reliability.
