China’s influence is increasing with international projects
China Energy Engineering Corp. (CEEC) signed three important agreements during the COP29 summit that will accelerate solar projects internationally. In cooperation with Samruk Energy, China will establish a 300 MW solar power plant and a 90 MW/360 MWh capacity storage system in Turkestan, Kazakhstan. JinkoSolar announced that it will supply n-type TOPCon modules with a capacity of 1.8 GW for the Al Ajban PV3 project to be built in the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, Sineng Electric will provide inverter systems for the fourth phase solar projects of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). Inverters with a total capacity of 2.6 GW will be installed in the Haden and Al-Khushaybi projects.
