We meet 2.5 percent of the total electricity production in Turkey from these two power plants. If we produce this energy from natural gas or from imported sources, we need to import approximately 6 billion cubic meters of natural gas. “Another source of current account deficit has been created and its approximate cost is 700 million dollars annually.”
