The facility, in which a Francis type turbine will be used, will convert water at a flow rate of 170 lt/h into energy. The electricity produced will be transferred to the national grid through the autoproducer cell. One of the most important features of the project is that it allows energy production without interrupting the flow in the drinking water line. In this way, drinking water services will not be disrupted and clean energy will be produced.
TEMSAN HİDROTEM mini HEPP power plant
Designed to be used in municipal transmission and agricultural irrigation lines, drinking water treatment facilities, water tank inlets and outlets, facilities using cooling water, and sea discharge points, HİDROTEM has a structure that does not require construction and can be easily installed.
In the statement made last year, it was reported that these power plants would be used in Trabzon Arsin Municipality, Arsin Drinking Water and Treatment Plant and Zonguldak. Designed for a minimum installed power of 0.5 kW, the system can reach up to an installed power of 1 MW. This power value means that the electricity consumption of approximately 200 houses will be met. It is stated that there is a potential of over 1000 MW in Turkey where HİDROTEM can be used.
