Dacia CEO Denis Le Vot recently announced that the new generation Sandero, which will be introduced towards the end of 2027, will have a 100% electric version. The electric version of Sandero, which was Europe’s best-selling model last year, will strengthen the brand’s position.
Renault Group’s new electric models, Renault 4 and 5, are built on the platform called AmpR Small. We can also expect the electric Sandero to be built on this platform or a derivative in order to keep costs low within the group.
Last year, 309,392 units of Dacia Sandero were sold in Europe. Sandero, whose sales increased by 14.6% compared to 2023, was thus recorded as the first Dacia model to sell more than 300 thousand units in one year.
The Dacia brand increased its sales by 2.7% to 676 thousand units. Dacia has sold over 9 million units since 2004.
