Control Ultimate Edition comes to Macs on February 12, 2025
Control Ultimate Edition will come to Mac computers with its two major expansions (The Foundation and AWE) and all its updates. The developer did not disclose system requirements. It will probably be playable on MacBooks and other Macs with M1 or newer processors. It was shared that it is optimized for Macs with Apple Silicon processors, has HDR and MetalFX Upscaling support, and will offer hardware-accelerated ray tracing support on Macs with M3 processors.
Remedy also gave good news for those waiting for Control 2. We have officially learned that work is continuing on Control 2, but no details about the sequel have been shared. It was also shared that a free update for Control 1 would come in early 2025. Additionally, independent of the game, it was announced that Alan Wake 2 has sold more than 1.8 million copies since its release.
