According to Boeing’s press release, most of these losses will be for two programs: $800 million for the KC-46A tanker and $500 million for the T-7A trainer aircraft. However, a total loss of 400 million dollars is predicted for the Starliner program, VC-25B presidential aircraft and MQ-25 unmanned aerial vehicle projects.
Things are not going well for Starliner
The latest developments in the Starliner program came to the fore with an important decision made by NASA in October. NASA, Starliner’s first operational mission has been postponed until after 2025 announced. In this process, SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft was preferred for the Crew-10 and Crew-11 missions to the International Space Station.

In its last earnings call in October, Boeing also signaled that it would make new decisions that could include stopping work in some areas other than commercial aviation and defense.
