The “under-boob” fashion trend has been present in K-Pop since 2022. While it has been met with mixed reactions, many music artists have continued to rock the daring fashion, such as CARD‘s Some, HyunA, TWICE‘s Nayeon, BIBIand THE SSERAFIM‘s Chaewon.
Yet, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie was one of the first K-Pop idols to rock the under-boob look, and she has continued to do so in unique ways. So, here are 4 times she slayed the under-boob trend in totally different ways…
1. Jacquemus Spring 2022 Ready-to-Wear Show
At the start of the under-boob trend, Jennie joined in by wearing a pink crop top for the Jacquemus Spring 2022 Ready-to-Wear Show in Hawaii. It gave just a peak at the right angles and, paired with the matching skirt, gave off fun beach party vibes.
2. “Pink Venom” concept
Jennie rocked a futuristic pink outfit for the “Pink Venom” concept shoot. The top was so small that it garnered mixed reactions from netizens, as some were concerned about the practicality if Jennie were to dance in the outfit.
Yet, in only some poses and angles did the top show under-boob.
BLACKPINK made history as they headlined Coachella 2023. The girls surprised BLINKs with new outfits for the second weekend. They wore a hanbok-inspired look before revealing their matching pink two-piece outfits.
Jennie did not wear just a crop top. It appeared pieces were perfectly cut on the side of the corset-like top to reveal some under-boob. Yet, some say that there is nude fabric there.
4. Calvin Klein photoshoot
As an ambassador for Calvin Klein, Jennie has done many sexy photoshoots for the brand. Yet, her recent was one of the sexiest. She wore a muted matching miniskirt and cropped jumper designed that she designed herself. Her previous “under-boob” fits were bright and pink, radiating a playful vibe, while this is much more mature.
