Many K-Pop fans are familiar with the dreaded “7-Year Curse.” The curse alludes to the seven years that idols usually sign when they debut. Unfortunately for fans, more often than not, groups disband once this seven-year contract expires.

As it is well-known that BLACKPINK members are also in the seventh year of their contract, speculation regarding the group’s future has been rampant. Fans, however, might finally be able to relax after Rosé spoke about the group’s future in a recent viral clip.

The clip from the group’s May 13 BORN PINK concert in Singapore shows Rosé, with her members, speaking to fans. In the clip, Rosé assures fans that BLACKPINK will be forever.

The clip quickly went viral, with many fans expressing their thanks to the idol for reassuring them. Many fans stated that they wanted the group to stay together for many more years.

It seems no matter what happens when their contract is up, BLACKPINK will be forever. But only time will tell if that will be at YG Entertainment.
