According to the statement made by the T3 Foundation, the Technology Competitions organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST, the world’s largest aviation, space and technology festival, will bring together participants who are passionate about technology and innovation in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 2025.

TEKNOFEST Robolig Competition, held for the first time in 2023, opens the doors of the world of robotics, electronics and coding to secondary and high school students in TRNC this year with the theme “Robolig Blue Homeland”.

The competition, which was launched under the leadership of the T3 Foundation, aims to enable young people to develop their engineering skills and grow up as technology leaders of the future.

INNOVATIVE ROBOT DESIGNS AND ENGINEERING SKILLS WILL COMPETE

TEKNOFEST TRNC Robolig Blue Homeland Competition is organized in two different categories for middle school and high school students. The competition draws attention with its league system, in which participants collect points by completing various tasks on designated tracks. The competition, which tests students’ engineering skills with tasks such as carrying cargo, moving on certain routes and hoisting flags, offers young people an entertaining and educational experience.

This competition, which aims to encourage the widespread use of DENEYAP Card, which was developed using domestic engineering facilities within the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, aims to contribute to the vision of “A Turkey Developing Technology”.

All secondary and high school students studying in Turkey, TRNC and abroad will have the chance to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in robotics and coding by applying to the TEKNOFEST Robolig Blue Homeland Competition.

The participants who rank highest in the competition will crown their success with awards. In the secondary school category, the third prize is 40 thousand TL, the second prize is 50 thousand TL, and the first prize is 60 thousand TL; In the high school category, the third place winners will receive 50 thousand TL, the second place will receive 60 thousand TL, and the first place winner will receive 70 thousand TL.

Aiming to inspire young people in the fields of technology and engineering, TEKNOFEST Robolig Blue Homeland Competition will increase the potential of young people, improve students’ robotics and software skills, and introduce them to entrepreneurship and innovation.

The application period for TEKNOFEST TRNC Technology Competitions, which will host participants from all over the world, ends on January 15.
