iOS 18.3 brings starlink support to iPhones
iPhone users will be able to use Starlink as an alternative to Apple’s own satellite communication service. T-Mobilebegan to test an early version of Starlink with a small number of iPhone users.
The first version of Starlink only for messaging can be used. However, SpaceX and T-Mobile said it can also be used for future data connections and voice calls. The program also includes only US users in the US. Apple’s globalstar service is much more in use in more countries. SpaceX plans to present Starlink globally.
Starlink is by far the largest satellite communication services provider with its coverage in more than 100 countries and regions. However, neither SpaceX’s Starlink nor Apple’s satellite connection has been available since the iPhone 14 series cannot be used in Turkey.
