Tata Motors is not one of the brands that first come to mind when it comes to premium cars, but the new Avinya X concept seems to change this perception. The electric SUV concept, which was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2025 in India, is a preview of Tata’s future Avinya series cars.

All Avinya series cars will be built on the EMA (Electrified Modular Architecture) platform of Jaguar Land Rover, which is within the company. Tata, first Avinya concept It was introduced in 2022, and it was announced that the concept vehicle at that time used the Gen 3 platform. In the Avinya X concept, the front hood, side mirror covers, pillars and ceiling are designed in gloss black to contrast with the body color. At the rear of the model, where large aerodynamic wheels with a dual-color design are used, thin taillights compatible with the light signature at the front, an extremely sloping rear window and a protruding rear bumper attract attention.

The interior of the concept has a very simple design. The light signature on the front and rear also shows itself on the console. There is a small digital display screen behind the two-spoke steering wheel with touch controls. There is a large touchscreen multimedia screen in the middle. In the area where fabric and leather surfaces are combined, the ambient lighting on the door panels also looks quite striking.

In the Avinya X concept, particular attention was paid to the comfort of the rear passengers. When the front passenger seat is folded, a cushion is revealed where the rear passenger can lay his feet. There is also a manually removable table behind the center console. The trunk lid opens in two parts, up and down, and there is a seat at the bottom where passengers can sit and enjoy the view.

Technical details are not yet clear, but we know from previous statements that the platform will have 800V architecture and fast charging support up to 350 kW. It is stated that the model in question can offer a driving range of up to 480 kilometers on a single charge.
