Seo MoonJo is no textbook psychopath, and Lee DongWook does a marvelous job at making sure we know that. He is extremely sharp, manipulative, and outright insane. He is also physically strong but arguably not an unbeatable fighter, but he makes up for it with his foresight. Fans also theorize that Seo MoonJo wasn’t born a psychopath, but this villainous identity was created by his abusive mother. So, even though he is way off from being human, he does get swayed by his emotions, which is a considerable weakness. However, at the end of “Strangers From Hell”, it is rather ambiguous whether Seo MoonJo is actually killed, and many fans believe that he is still very much alive, which means that he is much bigger a mastermind than we thought. In a showdown with other villains, he might be the one faking his death and walking out alive.

2. Mo TaeGoo played by Kim JaeUck – “Voice”

Often considered the scariest villain in the history of K-Dramas, Mo TaeGoo is a menace and Kim JaeUck truly set the bar for psychopaths in K-Dramas. Mo TaeGoo can send chills down your spine just with his creepy grin and deranged eyes. His thirst for blood is insatiable, and he derives sadistic pleasure from his crimes. He was also born a normal kid, but certain trauma surrounding the death of his mother turned him into a monster. TaeGoo is deceptive, entitled, indignant, and cunning but also charismatic. He takes pride in his high intelligence but has a deep-set need for validation, which can be a huge weakness when faced with other psychopaths. In a hypothetical showdown, Mo TaeGoo might just be too busy bragging about his criminal spoils, which would probably annoy some others on this list and get him killed.

A fan-favorite K-Drama psychopath, Jang HanSeok is iconic, to say the least. The way he went from the sweet and wholesome Jang JunWoo to the unhinged, power-hungry madman Jang HanSeok has to be one of the most memorable transformations ever, thanks to Ok TaecYeon’s outstanding performance. Now, Jang HanSeok has no morality, which means he has no qualms about going as far as it takes to achieve his ends. In fact, he is pure evil and could very well blow up the world if that meant he could rule it. However, he is hot-headed, impulsive, relies too much on others, and has little to no foresight, so we’re not too sure how long he would last in a K-Drama villain face-off.

Finally, the villain to end all villains – Jeong BaReum has entered the chat. The most twisted, complex, cold, unpredictable, and pitiful villain all at once, Jeong BaReum takes us on a rollercoaster ride of emotions while we try to figure out where we stand. No one but Lee SeungGi could have brought such a multifaceted character to life. Now, in BaReum’s case, he was indeed “born” a psychopath but it can be said that it was the lack of nurture that brought out the immorality in him. Jeong BaReum is beyond intelligent – he is always ten steps ahead and usually, things go according to his elaborate, flawless plans. While this might ideally suggest that Jeong BaReum would win in a hypothetical psychopath showdown, we must also remember that he seeks redemption by the end of the series, which isn’t really a strength when you’re fighting other psychopaths.

Which of these K-Drama psychopaths would win in a showdown?
