Yandex, one of the leading search engine and technology companies, announced that it has integrated the latest remarkable technology, artificial intelligence, into its search systems.
With a magnificent introductory meeting at the Binbirdirek Cistern in Fatih, Istanbul, the company announced that it had launched Yandex Search with its search engine ‘Yazeka’. The service combines search engine functionality with advanced generative artificial intelligence. It provides the most accurate answer to all questions by supporting all the information on the internet with source citations.
With Yazeka, designed especially for the Turkish market, Yandex Search can now be used as a part of the Yandex Search application. This application is available in Turkish for the first time on Android and desktop platforms, and the iOS version will meet users soon.

With the new system, search results come in the form of summaries created by artificial intelligence compiled from data found in numerous sources on the internet. All AI-generated answers are backed by reliable quotes, allowing users to explore references whenever they feel the need to dig deeper.
Artificial intelligence-supported answers provide great benefits, especially for complex queries for which the answer is not available from a single source, and help the user save time. It is emphasized that Yazeka and Yandex Search have been developed to understand the natural language of communication.
Making statements about the new product at the meeting, Yandex Search Turkey General Manager Alexander Popovskiy said, “We are entering a new era of search. Today, search is not just a tool for getting information, but a finding engine that responds to complex queries by taking into account the local context and culture. With Yazeka “By shortening the time required to discover and research new information, Yandex Search is changing the way Turkish users access information and make decisions.”
Yandex Search with Yazeka is based on Yandex neural networks. In addition to being specifically pre-trained to perform tasks in both Turkish and English, these networks also produce results that are relevant to the Turkish context. The service was developed using extensive data sets collected by local AI experts.
