YouTube is testing voice response feature in comments

YouTube is currently testing the audio response to comments feature with a small number of creators in the Americas, initially only on YouTube. iOS can be used in the application.
Creators who enable this feature will record and send audio commentary by tapping the new soundwave icon. Only the owner of the channel will be able to send the audio comment, and everyone will be able to listen to the comment. Viewers who do not want to listen to the voice note will be able to read the comment by pressing the transcript button. The creator will not be able to leave a voice response to a comment on another video.
The new feature will further strengthen the bond of content creators with their followers and increase interaction. For some creators, this feature will offer the opportunity to engage with their audience on a much more personal level.
