Despite the EU’s additional tax decision, another Chinese electric car was put on sale in Europe. The price of the electric SUV called Zeekr 7X, which was first offered for sale in the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway, starts from 54 thousand euros, although it varies depending on the market. Let us remind you that Zeekr is a brand under the umbrella of the Chinese automotive group Geely.
Zeekr 7X is built on the SEA platform, which sister brand Volvo also uses in some of its vehicles. The model in question; It has a length of 4787 mm and a wheelbase of 2900 mm. The exterior design of the car draws attention with its thin front and rear lighting, rounded lines, two-tone 21-inch wheels and hidden door handles.
The model, which also has air suspension that increases ground clearance by 45 mm as standard, has a luggage volume of 539 liters. Additionally, there is a 66-liter front trunk under the front hood. The interior includes a three-spoke steering wheel, digital display, head-up display projected onto the windshield and a 16-inch touchscreen multimedia screen. Zeekr 7X’s infotainment system is powered by the Snapdragon 8295 chipset.
The electric SUV has DC fast charging support up to 480 kW, thanks to its 800V electrical architecture. The car has two different battery options: 75 kWh LFP and 100 kWh NMC. Depending on the battery, the range varies between 480 km and 615 km according to WLTP. The 10-80% charging time of the small battery was announced as 13 minutes. With a larger battery, this time increases to 16 minutes.
