Prague buildings will get warmer and cooler thanks to metro tunnel

In this case, the biggest cost in a ground-based system is the drilling work that will reach the ground. As a result of this drilling work, dozens of wells of hundreds of meters are generally opened and special hoses containing closed circulating water are laid.
Although this process ensures that the system pays for itself in the long run, it creates a large investment cost. The solution implemented by Prague and many cities around the world was to use the already constructed metro station and tunnel for this purpose.
