For example; While you were going to add a person to the Bcc field, you accidentally added them to the Cc field. You will no longer have to delete and retype the email address. All you have to do is drag the person from the Cc field and bring it to the Bcc field. Drag-and-drop functionality is available in the desktop version of Gmail and iOS It was already available in the app, now it’s available on Android too.
The new feature of the Gmail Android app is available to all Google Workspace subscribers, including Workspace subscribers and users with personal Google accounts. It is expected to be available to all users in a few weeks.
Google recently added a few other features to Gmail. The Gemini side panel in Gmail has been updated to connect with Google Calendar. The interface of Gmail summary cards, which show information about orders and shipments, has been renewed and new action buttons have been added. Additionally, Gmail’s blue verification checkmarks, which help users verify sender identity, have arrived on Android and iOS.
